PILATES/ FRANKLIN METHOD
This course of Pilates- used in association with the Franklin Method (FM) is for all ages and ability levels – beginners upwards. This course will be specifically aimed at participants who would like to explore body´ s anatomy and its functions.
Pilates was founded by Joseph Pilates, in the 1930´s who created a regime of fitness exercises for improving his own health and that of his students via an exercise routine and various fitness machines to build a strong core by improving correct posture, breathing, stability, strength and flexibility.
Whereas Eric Franklin, Swiss-American born, in 1994 founded his method to help health, dance and fitness professionals with specific skills and know-how to apply when teaching students about the body and its anatomy. The Franklin Method is recognised by renowned health providers in Switzerland. It is regularly seen at Dance, Pilates, Yoga and Physiotherapy conferences, and is taught all over the world.
