WHEELS : PULLEYS : FANS : RINGS : STACKS : PIVOTS
In this workshop, utilizing imagery and bone rhythms, we will explore biomechanics, anatomy, function and design for the Spine-Pelvis-Neck-Shoulders and the Feet. To better understand how we move, this imagery and bone rhythms workshop will focus on safe, efficient movement.
The workshop will begin Friday evening with a shorter session covering how we breathe followed by a casual social hour. Over the course of the weekend you will MOVE to gain experiential knowledge of the patterns and movement mechanics of the Pelvis, Spine, Feet, Shoulders and Neck. We will explore visual and imagery cues to for more efficient function of our breath, spine, pelvis, shoulders and feet.
Founded by Eric Franklin in 1994, the Franklin Method uses Dynamic Neurocognitive Imagery along with anatomical embodiment to fully teach you how to understand the design and movement potential of your own body. A way to visualize and cue movement through imagery.
Learn to move more soundly by learning the way your body is designed to move. Employ Franklin Method physical and mental/imagery training to learning why movement happens and experience your anatomy for immediately improved function.
The power of understanding your anatomy is…The ability to embody/understand movement and make changes in your patterns.
This will change your life and your future!
