This workshop with Eric Franklin, founder of the Franklin Method™, concentrates on the pelvic core and the spine, a masterpiece of design containing more than 100 joints and associated muscles and ligaments. An embodied understanding of the spine allows you to explore all your daily movements to benefit your spinal health.
Emphasizing ease and efficiency through imagery and simple movements,
Experience the power of imagery, touch, and movement exercises to lengthen and balance the shoulder and neck musculature
Learn to melt away tension and associated mental anxiety
Release holding patterns in the upper body by activating the pelvic floor
Become aware of the organic causes of tightness and muscular rigidity
Create an embodied understanding of yoga poses and how to cue them efficiently
Experience the anatomy behind natural breathing and how it relates to yogic practices.
You will leave with your feet firmly balanced, and your spine long and buoyant.
