Revolutionize Your Riding
with the Franklin Method® Equestrian Pelvis Certification
Have you hit a plateau with your riding?
Perhaps you’re satisfied with where you’re at, but you know you have greater potential, and so does your horse.
Or maybe you’re a little frustrated at the moment, feeling disconnected from your horse and like your skills haven’t grown as much as you would have liked in 2018.
Take Your Riding to the Next Level!
Franklin Method® has helped dozens of equestrians take their riding to the next level by unlocking old patterns in the body and tapping into new skills for improving your movement and your relationship with your horse, so your riding feels strong, seamless, and intuitive.
During this 2-part training you’ll learn Franklin Method® imagery and embodiments of the pelvis as they apply to riding, as well as training and conditioning in and out of the saddle.
As an equestrian your power is in your pelvis.
This is why the Franklin Method® team is bringing the Franklin Method® Equestrian Pelvis Training to the UK for the first time in April and May.
Your pelvis is the bedrock of your riding and your primary point of connection with your horse
“The sense of ease in my body… I’m not even sure how to describe that. My posture feels completely different and a lot more lifted. Movement is so much easier, and it just seems easier to focus.”
– Alex, Franklin Method® student
During this 2-part training you’ll learn Franklin Method® imagery and embodiments of the pelvis as they apply to riding, as well as training and conditioning in and out of the saddle.
This is the very first certification of its kind, and the first UK Franklin Method® Equestrian Training. Over 10 days you’ll experience our unique core principles, including anatomical education, embodied function, and Dynamic-Neurocognitive Imagery® (DNI), as they directly apply to equestrians.
Although you’ll learn a lot of theory, this is not simply a lecture series or “movement training.” You’ll be experiencing Franklin Method® for riding in an interactive format, using static saddles and truly integrating solutions for your unique challenges.
Students will graduate from the training with an entirely new perspective on riding, having had dozens of deep “aha” moments. Not to mention, you’ll have learned and embodied practical tools you’ll immediately be able to take out onto the field.
You’ll learn how to utilize Franklin Method® mind-body exercises and imagery, as well as the Franklin Method® balls and bands, in and out of the saddle. From your warm-up to your riding lessons, having Franklin Method® tools in your back pocket will revolutionize your riding and you’ll quickly see the tangible results you’ve been looking for
If you’re ready to shapeshift and learn how to lead your horse with more efficacy and ease, join us in April & May in the UK for this special training.

Important Info
Franklin Method® is a scientifically-proven mind-body method that blends anatomical education, embodied function, and Dynamic Neuro-cognitive Imagery™ (DNI). It’s the fastest and most effective proven approach to permanently retraining your body and mind for optimal function.
Backed up by scientific studies, Franklin Method® is the results-based gateway to learning how to move your body in alignment with your anatomy and function, no matter what type of exercise you’re doing. You can retrain your body to unlearn tightness and optimize movement so you naturally improve your strength and flexibility while avoiding pain, soreness, and injury.
What sets Franklin Method® apart is that it’s centered on the individual. It’s not a static system with strict rules. Your educator gives you a toolbox of anatomical, biomechanical, and physiological images and embodied movements, and then you expand upon it based on what resonates with your body.
Franklin Method® provides equestrians with tools to move their bodies more efficiently and connect with their horses on a deeper level. It will help optimize your movements and mental focus so you can guide your horse with more ease and efficacy.
Franklin Method® helps your body absorb the impact of riding and recover more quickly so you’re less likely to get injured. You’ll learn how to incorporate mental imagery so you’re more focused, confident, and calm in the saddle.
People who want to improve their riding performance, correct imbalances in themselves and their horses, and/or recover from an injury or chronic pain. Instead of leaving their recovery up to an expert who they might see once a week, they can guide themselves to recovery by learning and embodying their own design. Of course, always check in with your doctor in conjunction with Franklin Method®.
Franklin Method® will benefit equestrians who want to move more seamlessly with their horses. By embodying your own functional movement, your horse will quickly learn what it means to move efficiently.
Learning the Franklin Method® will help you understand your internal and external function on a scientific yet intuitive level. You’ll learn how certain cues and movements could actually be going against the function of your body, and the function of your horse.
These improper cues, while well-meaning, can contribute to harmful movement patterns for both you and your horse. Learning the Franklin Method® will give you a strong foundation based on long-standing and new cutting-edge science. It will improve your cues and give you more confidence, because you’ll know your directions are congruent with correct anatomical function.
You’ll learn how to properly use Franklin Method® theory, balls, and bands to improve your riding skills. We’ll be focusing on the pelvis – the bedrock of your riding, and your primary point of connection with your horse. You’ll learn Franklin Method® imagery and embodiments of the pelvis as they apply to riding, as well as training and conditioning in and out of the saddle.
Founded by Eric Franklin, Dynamic-Neurocognitive Imagery® (DNI) is a science-based approach to positive anatomical imagery and tangible physical metamorphosis. It has a noticeable impact on how you feel and how you move.
For example, if we were working with the pelvis, you might imagine your pelvis sliding through coconut oil, supple and slippery as the halves move in opposition.
New scientific studies on the effectivness of DNI are consistently being published. We are currently working on a study that specifically looks at DNI with equestrians.
Eric Franklin created the Franklin Method® over 25 years ago.
Eric first taught in Switzerland, Germany and Austria, and then in the USA, China, Japan and many other countries. Franklin Method® came to Eric through his background as a dancer and movement educator. He realized that the creative visualizations, embodied anatomy, physical and mental exercises, and educational skills that came to him so easily could be very valuable for other dancers, athletes, and movers of all types.
This is a 10-day, 2-module training held over one week in April and one week in May. We’ll start each day with a Franklin Method® mind-body warm up where you’ll learn and practice the core principles that make up the Franklin Method®. Next we’ll review our content for the day.
Over our 10 days together we’ll cover Franklin Method® theory and anatomical education, as well as embodiment and imagery for the pelvis and surrounding muscles. We’ll finish each day with movement, experiencing what we’ve learned as it applies to riding. All exercises will be done in the studio using static saddles.
There will be at-home practice assignments in between the April and May modules. At the end of the certification training you’ll be asked to give a 10-minute presentation on one of the topics you learned in the first module.
10 days of training, as well as Franklin Method® balls, mini roller, and band. You’ll also receive a copy of the Franklin Method® Equestrian Pelvis Trainer Manual, and access to the Franklin Method® Equestrian Pelvis Training 2019 Facebook group where you can connect with fellow trainees and ask the faculty questions.
After this training you’ll be certified as a Franklin Method® Equestrian Pelvis Trainer. This gives you permission to teach Franklin Method® Equestrian Pelvis workshops and use the Franklin Method® – including our unique balls and bands – in clinics and lessons.
