Fusion Pilates & Yoga studio founder and creator of the online class website Mat You Can, Enzo is an internationally recognized Pilates and yoga specialist. He has been leading teacher training, conferences and workshops on mindbody matters in Italy and abroad since 2011. Enzo has an honours degree in Physical Education and Sport Sciences with a thesis on the benefits of Pilates on chronic low back pain. He began his training on The human body and its dynamics with ju-jitsu which he practiced when he was a teenager, achieving the title of 2nd Dan black belt and of international champion.
Enzo began his professional career in personal training and in fitness coaching in 2001 helping people to improve their physical health and incorporate a healthy lifestyle.
Trained in karate, aikido and shiatsu, he later studied several yoga styles until he discovered Odaka Yoga: nowadays he is an experienced 500 hrs yoga certified teacher and an educator, working closely with its founders Roberto Milletti and Francesca Cassia. In 2006, Enzo approached the Pilates method, receiving the Polestar Pilates certification and joining several workshops, lectures and conferences around the world. In 2017, after a full immersion and high specialized training with Nora St John and Joy Puleo, he became a Balanced Body master instructor in Pilates, anatomy in 3D and MOTR.
True to the motto “never stop learning”, he is also a Franklin Method L1 Educator currently attending the L2 Franklin method teacher training.
Aware of the importance of a good balance between mind and body, Enzo practices meditation on a regular basis and keeps to a strict personal routine for self training.
His way of life, combined with years of study and consistent research, contributed to defining his original teaching method which integrates Pilates, yoga and meditation techniques.
One of the things that has influenced him most in martial arts and affected his teaching techniques Pilates was the attention placed on the fluidity of water. Along with that taking a look at nature, for example we can think about how a weeping willow tree’s branch can we covered with heavy snow… and how even under this pressure it may bend but not break.
