I started off my journey as a Personal Trainer in 2006. I dealt with many challenges along the journey with a host of clients having both muscular and joint injuries. This inspired me to train to become a Pilates instructor as the exercises are low weight bearing and gentle on joints. I have been teaching Pilates since 2008. Pilates has helped me greatly to help others train their bodies holistically. I love challenges that clients throw at her with their pains and aches, as well as finding the balance of strengthening and flexibility for her clients. Over the years, she has also taken up many courses to broaden her knowledge on rehabilitation on the knee/shoulder/hip/spine, pre & post partum, and biomechanics of the body.

Trey began studying Pilates and yoga as a teenager, and was exposed to those methods through modern dance and ballet. He was certified by Colleen Glenn and has been teaching since 2003. Colleen is a protege of Romana Kryzanowska (heir to Mr. Pilates method), co-founder of The Pilates Method Alliance and was heralded as one of America’s top 55 trainers in Vogue magazine. He studied with Michael Miller from 2002-2009, and early on in his teaching career he became intrigued with how Wendy LeBlanc-Arbuckle was teaching the Pilates method after she helped him rehabilitate a back injury, and audited her 600 hour 3-Core Connections teacher training program at the Pilates Center of Austin. He was mentored by her from 2005-2008. While in Austin, he had the opportunity to study with Mary Bowen, a direct student of Mr. Pilates on her yearly visits to The Pilates Center of Austin.
Since 2009 he has studied with and been mentored by Debby Orlando, a licensed teacher trainer for The Pilates Center of Boulder and level III Franklin Method Educator. During this time, he completed The Pilates Center’s Advanced Teacher Training, the most comprehensive, intensive, and respected program of it’s kind in the world, referred to as the “Harvard” of Pilates schools comprised of 950 formal hours of study.
Trey is a Level I Franklin Method Educator, and trained directly with Eric Franklin and Morten Dithmer.
Trey is a GYROTONIC® Expansion System apprentice, and did his primary teacher training with Davi Edelbeck.
In the fall of 2012 he completed his 200 hour Yoga teacher training through Core Essence Yoga.
Trey is a Reiki Master in the Usui lineage, and brings this energetic component into his teaching.
