Dr. Allison M. Daly, PTFranklin Method Educator Level 1, reg. 02/2016 Physical Therapist
Dr. Allison M Daly, PT is the founder of Optimal Kinetics, LLC.
“I discovered a curiosity of motion and an obsession with symmetry at an early age through practicing and competing in the sport of gymnastics. Unbeknownst to me, this curiosity would lead down a path to higher education and eventually evolve into a career.”
Dr. Daly completed a BS Degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis on Applied Exercise Physiology at Texas A&M University in College Station, TX. She then earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, LA. She completed an American Physical Therapy Association Residency in Orthopaedics and Practice Management at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, LA and PT Pros in Hazard, KY.
Working in the LSUHSC Wellness Center during PT school inspired Dr. Daly’s multi-fitness training. She completed certifications with STOTT Pilates, American College of Sports Medicine Health Fitness Instruction, and Schwinn Indoor Cycling. After graduation, she also trained in Miami, FL with Polestar Pilates in their Rehabilitation Series for Healthcare Professionals.
Dr. Daly enjoys the challenge of keeping the attention and interest of a class, piquing clients’ curiosity for optimal biomechanics, and preventing injury in an otherwise “well” population. She loves to see clients experience “aha moments” in their bodies through mindful movement.
When away from the studio, Dr. Daly loves paddleboarding, brunching, costuming, and spending time with her dog Saint Francis. On vacation you will likely catch her reading a good book on a beach under an umbrella and wearing a wide-brimmed floppy hat.

Sarah DuaxFranklin Method Educator Level 2, reg. 06/2017 Ballet Teacher, Body Worker
I have studied and taught ballet for many years. It is a true love. I have taught ballet at Tulane University for over ten years. Currently I am on leave but intend to return soon. I studied with Buffalo Ballet Theater, Joffrey Ballet, Pennsylvania Ballet and Hysell Ballet among many other excellent teachers. I also performed with all but the Joffrey Ballet.
I began studying Franklin Method with Kahinde Ishangi in 2014. She helped me immensely using both Franklin Method and her own technique, The Ishangi Method. I had a hip replacement in 2013 and was still recovering . While PT, yoga and ballet were helpful, how I was doing them needed to change for real improvement. I will use the Franklin Method to address this through imagery in the mind, exspressed out loud while doing the movement with or without use of the hands to mimic the movement . This activity is proceeded and followed by an evaluation of the movement so a comparison can be made and the value of the image assessed. Please join me in this continuing mental and physical exploration of more pleasant and efficient movement in all aspects of our lives.
Kalina DuffnerFranklin Method Educator Level 2, reg. 2018 Flamenco dancer / Tango dancer / Teacher

The Franklin Method Training has been one of the most transformative experiences in my life. Not only has it helped me understand movement in new way, deeper than I thought possible, but also regain the joy of movement and trust in my body. It has opened up endless possibilities in both dancing and teaching. And it has been such fun!!!
