Birthe BrosolatFranklin Method Educator Level 1, reg. 04/2017 Movement educator – Pilates teacher – Pilates teacher trainer
I am passionate about movement and about teaching and have taught movement for almost 35 years – mainly moderne dance and ballet and since 2008 pilates.
Certified as Matwork and Studio Equipment Master Teacher from Body Control Pilates, I am currently teaching as a freelance pilates teacher in the Copenhagen area. Furthermore, I teach on Body Control Pilates’ teacher training programme in Denmark.
As a movement educator it is important to me to teach HOW an exercise is done and not to focus on the instruction of the exercise only. This means that I see myself more as a movement facilitator guiding an exercise in such a way that I teach about the design of our body at the same time.
In my classes, I try to focus on stimulating both the body and the mind which I believe is the only way to create sustainable change in how to move more functionally and efficiently.
As a person I am happy and positive. I believe in enjoying life and including movement in your life and have fun while moving.
