Maya Aubrey began teaching Pilates in Santa Fe, NM working for Michele Larsson at the Institute for the Pilates Method in 1991 before opening her own studio, PilateZone, in 1993, where she offers teacher training and continuing education. She brings to her Pilates training a background of 20 years as a professional dancer and choreographer. Amy loves Pilates and the many benefits it has to offer. After discovering Pilates in 2002 and having experienced the benefits within her own body, Amy completed her Full Pilates Mat and Studio Certification through the internationally recognised training organisation Pilates International Training Centre (PITC) in 2004. She then went on to complete the Certificate IV in Pilates Instruction in 2005 with PITC and her Cert IV in Massage in 2006.

Carolyn began studying Pilates passionately in 2002, being referred after a yoga injury. She attained the Apprentice Teacher Certificate with the prestigious Fletcher Pilates and completed her comprehensive teacher program at the Pilates Conservatory with Master Teacher, Pat Guyton. After seeing the effect the Franklin Method had on the work of Guyton, Carolyn enrolled in the Franklin Method course of study. In September 2012, Carolyn was awarded certification as a Franklin Method Educator and began the FM Level 2 training.
Carolyn seeks to assist others in improving their body’s function in sports, fitness and life pursuits. The Franklin Method’s movement imagery, experiential anatomy and tension relief products and exercises enable Carolyn to customize her client sessions, group classes and workshops. The aim is for participants to achieve lasting results from their investment of time and funds for moving more efficiently and pain free.

CMT, Certified Pilates Instructor, Certified Yoga Instructor and Movement Educator, combines her vision as a bodyworker and a teacher of Pilates and Yoga to help her students advance towards optimal health and well-being. Renée has 25 years of experience teaching in the health and fitness industry and has worked with a variety of clients ranging from the elite athlete to those with both acute and chronic injuries. Renée infuses each lesson with specific, detailed alignment, attention on the breath, and imagery. She believes that the combination of these elements facilitates an awakening that leads to a deeper understanding of oneself and to the world around them. Renée is a graduate of the Boulder College of Massage Therapy, The Pilates Center Teacher Training Program, Richard Freeman’s Yoga Teacher Training Program and is currently enrolled in Eric Franklin’s Teaching Training Program. In addition Renée has studied with Tias Little, Rodney Yee, John Friend, Judith Lasater, Aadil Palkhivala, Shiva Rea, Rael Isacowitz and many others.

Merilee is a level 3 Franklin Method Educator and her focus as a teacher is healing through movement. She has a B.A. in Dance from St. Mary’s College of California; she’s a certified Pilates Instructor, trained by master teacher, Romana Kryzanowska and has a certification as a fitness trainer from UCLA. Merilee has been teaching dance and fitness for over two decades in schools, universities and colleges in the greater LA area, and New York City. She teaches Franklin Method workshops at Spirit of the Foothills, in La Crescenta, The NoHo Arts Center for New Thought, in North Hollywood, and at Zoe Pilates, in Pasadena. She is on staff as a ballet teacher at the Anna Cheselka Dance Center in Studio City, and at the Colburn School in Los Angeles. Merilee was a principal dancer with Ballet Pacifica, Orange County’s first professional ballet company at 16, and she received a scholarship to study with the Joffrey Ballet. During her professional career she performed in six Broadway shows, and six off-Broadway shows and was a member of the Ballet Company at Radio City Music Hall.

Sarah Breedlove has been interested in human anatomy and body awareness since the age of 8. What began as a request by many a coach to be “relaxed” while in action, – later became her personal obsession and then professional career. While in college studying dance and kinesiology, Sarah deepened her knowledge of anatomy and body mechanics and later became a certified personal trainer in the Pilates Method of conditioning. After more than 1000 hours of education and 8 years of teaching Pilates, Sarah was still struggling to find ease in all movement for herself and her clients. On Thanksgiving Day weekend in 2008, Sarah attended her first Franklin Method® Workshop. Instantly every-day movements and every Pilates exercises began to get easier and more integrated. Franklin Method® enhanced both personal health and professional Pilates/movement coaching! Her fascination with movement began in childhood through dance and performance. Drawn to the beauty and intensity of classical technique, she trained as a professional ballet dancer in NYC at the School of American Ballet. Dance was her introduction and inspiration for the subsequent intensive studies in Pilates, Aston-Patterning, Franklin Method, Anthropology, Massage and BodyTalk.

Claudine is a french professional dancer and a movement educator. She is a certified Franklin Method® instructor Level 1 and Ilan Lev® therapist.
She discovered her passion to « groove » in Venezuela when she was 14 years old. Her first steps was as a self-made dancer. After completing a Management Master 2 degree in 2005, her passion and commitment for dance got finally stronger. She joined the Gianin Loringett’s Professional Performing Arts Centre in Nice, which finally led her to upgrade her career as a versatile dancer.
In the last past years she jumped ahead to different works and worlds and maintained part time career to create 2 solos.
About 5 years ago, Claudine had to find a way to improve her capacity of moving after her bout with arthrosis. From this period in her life she started a continuing training in Somatic Education. A new passion was born: A passion for Soma. The body alive, lived from the inside. Her curiosity brought her to Israel where she found « an eagerness for exploration and a willingness to open mind and body ». Since she moved 2 years ago, she is studying Gaga, a movement language created by Ohad Naharin, taking daily classes in the prestigious Suzane Dellal Center.
She is based in Tel Aviv and is currently continuing her own somatic /artistic training and research while developing Franklin Method® in the country.
She is curious about everyone, every bodies and every minds… Has a passion for helping people to find their own “Mood for Motion”. She is known for her clarity, depth in detail and her imagination and her groovy pedagogy style!
